This week…
Join us this Easter Sunday, 5 April at 10:00 AM, as we gather to worship the risen Christ and celebrate the Lord’s Supper together as a covenant community. On this glorious morning we remember and rejoice in the truth that our King is risen, and that through His victory over sin and death we have the sure hope of salvation.
Graham Fryer will be preaching from the book of Acts 10:34–43 in a sermon titled:
“The Testimony of the Risen Lord.”
In this passage, the apostle Peter proclaims the heart of the Gospel—Christ crucified and Christ raised. Though sinful men rejected Him, the sovereign plan of God was not thwarted. As Scripture
declares:
“They killed him by hanging him on a cross, but God raised him from the dead on the third day and caused him to be seen.” (Acts 10:39–40)
The resurrection of Jesus Christ stands at the center of the Christian faith. It is God’s public declaration that the work of Christ on the cross is complete and sufficient. Because Christ lives, forgiveness of sins is proclaimed in His name and all who trust in Him receive the promise of eternal life.
We warmly invite you to come and worship with us as we reflect on this great Gospel truth, hear the faithful preaching of God’s Word, and partake of the Lord’s Supper together. Easter is a joyful reminder that the grave could not hold our Savior and that our living Lord reigns even now.
Please remember Graham and his family in your prayers of intercession as he prepares to faithfully proclaim the Word of God.
We would love to have you join us as we celebrate the risen Christ together.
Soli Deo Gloria.
